After over a year of hard work, Northside UP had finally launched our dream website - check it out at www.northsideup.org!
We’re still working out a few quirks, but invite you to have a look around. Make sure you check back often as we’ll be updating the new website regularly.
In a few months, we'll be taking down this website. But not to worry, everything from Our Northside (and much more) can be found at www.northsideup.org!

Come celebrate the Northside Heroes opening today from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm! It will be at 203 Union Street, in a newly renovated Home HeadQuarters house.
Over the summer, Danielle Carrick worked with Stasya Panova at Northside Urban Partnership photographing residents that were nominated as heroes by their friends and neighbors. The images from this project, as well as quotes from the subjects, have become a public art piece on a stretch of construction fence outside of St. Joseph's hospital on North Townsend St.
Come celebrate the unveiling with an opening in conjunction with the non-profit, Home Headquarters (http://www.homehq.org/).
"Defining a hero is impossible. But you know one when you see one. Whether they walk among us or blaze a trail before us, their impact is undeniable. To many, the men and women on this fence are teachers, playwrights, politicians, friends and colleagues, but to at least one person they are also a hero.
The Northside Urban Partnership accepted nominations of Northside residents and set out to recognize the heroes living in one of Syracuse’s dynamic neighborhoods. The citizens on [the Townsend Street Street St. Joseph's expansion construction] fence represent a fraction of the heroes walking the streets of our neighborhood."
